Dentist

Today I had a dentist appointment, I'm lucky as my brother-in-law is my dentist so he understand about my great fear of the dentist, and my wonderful gag reflex. I don't usually get to embarrassed by it any more. Today my appointment was for the beginning of a tooth implant. Ugh !!!!! it was awful especially the drilling and the taste. now my whole face is numb and I'm a little out of it even for me as my family thinks I'm always that way. Oh well I made it through today and Brian says I have the hard part over, I hope so. Thanks Brian.

Busy Day

I had a busy day today. I started the day at the temple, had a great session with Brenda. Then we went to lunch. When I got home I changed and went to Curves. I had a really fun day.

Harry Potter

The new movie "Harry Potter and the Half -Blood Prince" will be in the theater on Nov.21, 2008, just 115 more days. I just watched the trailer. It looks really good.

I'm not going blind.

I went to the eye Doctor today. Dr. Seitz said I was not going blind but I have grains in my eyes causing everything to be blurry. He gave me some eye drops 1 I use1x a day the other I use 3 x a day, I also have to put warm compresses on my eyes morning and night. yippee I need more things to do in my life but I have to get my eyes to work so I can read Breaking Dawn.

A chuckle for today!

Parked on the side of the road waiting to catch speeding drivers, a state trooper sees a car puttering along at 22 mph.

He thinks to himself, 'This driver is as dangerous as a speeder!'So he turns on his lights and pulls the driver over.Approaching the car, he notices that there are five elderly ladies, two in the front seat and three in the back, wide-eyed and white as ghosts.The driver, obviously confused, says to him, 'Officer, I don't understand. I was going the exact speed limit. What seems to be the problem?'The trooper trying to contain a chuckle, explains to her that 22 was the route number, not the speed limit. A bit embarrassed, the woman grinned and thanked the officer for pointing out her error.'But before you go, Ma'am, I have to ask, is everyone in this car OK? These women seem awfully shaken.'?'Oh, they'll be al l right in a minute, officer. We just got off Highway 127.

A Special Visit!

Mary came by on her way back to Logan and Saturday and stayed till Sunday afternoon. It was great seeing her. I miss her a lot and am always glad for visits from my children. Today Raven and Gabe were here and Raeven couldn't stop talking about Mary, and Gabe would just say Aye!! to everything Raeven would say.

A blast from the Past

Back on track.

I started my day today by going to Curves, they have the new smart machines, they are like having a trainer with you, it really kicked my butt in gear. Next week I'm going to go at least 3 times maybe more. I have to get back in the groove. Then I cleaned the linen closet and got rid of a lot of junk, usually though when I take things to DI I end up going there and buying back what I took but not this time. I also went to lunch with Carolyn Slade and visiting teaching with Carol Murray. I know all my friends are named Carol or Carolyn.
This is the first time I've had the computer on all day and once again Tara made me cry. I miss her and her family soooooo much. I think she should come back here to live, she is just to far away. I also miss Mary and now Michael is thinking of moving to Washington State. Oh my all my chickadees are moving far away. Beau you and Brittney are not allowed to leave Vernal.

Testimony

Tara,you and Mary gave me the courage to do this on line, you are always inspiring me.I was reading my Ensign today. In President Uchdorf's article he quotes 2 Timothy 1:7-8 it says,"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. Be not thou ashamed of the testimony of our Lord."
So I do not want to be ashamed of our Savior. He is my friend, he is always there to hear me and be with me, I love him and try to be like him. When I joined the church in 1980 it was one of the greatest events in my life. I know the church is true , that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet. We can learn so much by following his directions in our lives. I know the Savior lives and loves us. He wants us to follow him by serving each other. I am so blessed to be a member of his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I write these things in his beloved name.

Babysitting!

Raeven and Gabe were here last night while Beau and Brittney went to the new Batman movie. They were both so funny, I could not get either one of them to smile for me.

Today is Pioneer Day and not much happening for me. Cooking dinner and laundry was all there was to do.

I finally had success putting my darling children's baby pictures on my blog, they are so adorable and really it seems as if they should still be this age, as I'm just too young to have children that are their ages. I love them all so much even thought they all like to make fun of me. Next week I will post another picture of them so you can see how they have changed. Love to my Children.

News for the Day

Not much going on today, just cleaned the house and now I'm watering the grass or the weed patch. Everyone in the family is fine at the moment. I got a new windshield on my car and tomorrow I have to take my car to Showalter to have the door handle fixed and to get a key less entry key. This is the first time since I joined the Church that I have not had a calling. It is rather strange to not have a calling. Oh well, soon enough.

Crying

I really hate to cry but sometimes it just make you feel better even though you also feel sad. I really love my children a whole lot. But as I sit here writing I'm all alone because my children are all grown up. I never realized when my children were small that before I turned around they would be gone. This is for all you mothers out there Love your children and never complain about them because some day they will be gone and you will be alone. Love them, kiss them and cherish them. To my children I love you more than life it self and I would do anything for you, and I wish you never had to feel pain but it is part of the Lord's plan and someday I hope we will be an Eternal Family because heaven won't be heaven without all of you.

We went to dinner with Bob & Judy Downard today. He looks better now that he has his new liver. We got fortune cookies. Her is what they said. Kim's:The most direct approach isn't always the best. Use diplomacy. Mine:You have a flair for adding a fanciful dimension to any story. Also Tomorrow will be a productive day. Don't oversleep. I guess I'll will have to be more creative with my blog. Tomorrow I'll have to get a lot done.

Friday

Today was a busy day. I was gone most of the day. Happy Birthday Brittney and Leslie. Dad and I went TV and furniture looking, it was fun but our options are for easy to stand up from don't you think. We also saw some very weird things flying in the sky. There were about 6 to 10 of them. We left theKids canal road we turned on 5th north heading to our house they were very fast we could not catch up to them. When we got home we could only see one and the then they were all gone, they wer very shiney and looked like flat things rolling over and over in the sky. OOOOOO spooky I think they were UFOS.

Arrangements Made

Well, we made arrangements for our funeral today, so everyone will know and not have to worry about it when the time comes. Also I went to the Temple and lunch with Brenda today, we also went to DI. So all in all it was A really exciting day. Nothing else happened.

Another day!

Not much news today. Dad wants to take care of our pre-funeral arrangements. It seems a little odd to me. Raeven and Gabe were here today for a little while, so now I'm really tired. July is going by so fast and soon I'll be back at school, I'm not sure how happy I am about that. well all you bloggers out there be good and always have fun.

Family

I spent the day today scanning some pictures into the computer. Most of them were pictures of my mom and dad. They made me feel really sentimental. I can't believe that it has been almost 13 years since my dad died. Some days I really miss him and just want to hear his voice and talk to him. Looking at his pictures today I decided I really also miss his smiling blue eyes. I love you Dad.

Another day!

Well, here I am again, not much news, My visiting teachers came today. I also took my car to have the door handle fixed but they had to order a part so, my car will have to go back. Beau just came by and helped me to take some staples out of his old teepee I thought I would clean and fix it for Gabriel. I have to go fix dinner for dad hope my girls believe this is a little more exciting. The problem is I just such a calm person.

It is almost too quiet here today, after shopping with Dad I spent most of the day all alone.

I got back home after taking Mary back home. I 'm kind of tired of driving for a while. Glad to be home but it is quite, now that all of you have left.
